Our Mission
To glorify God by providing compassionate psychiatric care to all women and teenage girls of different cultures, ages, and religious backgrounds, creating space for lasting change—one life at a time.
We provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where every woman feels heard, respected, and understood. Through trust, individualized care, collaboration, and evidence-based treatment, we honor each woman’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. We believe in nurturing support, honest communication, privacy, and knowledge, empowering each woman to actively participate in her mental health journey and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

What Makes Our Approach Different
Your symptoms are important, but they are not the whole story. At Unstuck Psychiatry, treatment is shaped by your individual experiences, goals, stage of life, and overall health. Our integrative approach considers how sleep, nutrition, stress, relationships, daily habits, medications, medical conditions, and life experiences may affect your emotional well-being. When clinically appropriate, laboratory testing may also be ordered or reviewed to identify medical conditions or nutritional deficiencies that could be contributing to how you feel.
Care may also include practical coping strategies, simple meditation exercises, and mindfulness techniques to help you slow down, manage stress, and become more aware of your thoughts and emotions. For established patients receiving medication management, brief supportive psychotherapy may also be incorporated into care when appropriate. Most importantly, treatment is collaborative. Your concerns, preferences, questions, and goals are part of the conversation.
Why I Started Unstuck Psychiatry
After more than 10 years working in behavioral health as a nurse, I saw how often women carry so much while quietly struggling inside. That experience inspired me to create a practice where women and teenage girls can be honest about what they are feeling without having to pretend that everything is okay or worry about being judged.
I believe women deserve mental health care that helps them feel supported, understood, and empowered. My goal is to help women and teenage girls manage emotional challenges, build resilience, and move toward a life where they can thrive and become the best version of who they were created to be.
That passion is what led me to further my education and become a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, so I could be part of providing meaningful solutions and greater access to quality mental health care for women and teenage girls
